NEW PROJECT - “ENHANCING GEORGIA’S CAPACITY TO COUNTER TARGETED WMD ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS”
The Georgian Center for Strategy and Development - GCSD launched a new project - “Enhancing Georgia’s Capacity to Counter Targeted WMD Assassination Attempts”. The project is implemented with the support of the Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) of the US Department of State. The project aims to enhance Georgia's capacity to detect and respond to the targeted use of weapons of mass destruction. To this end, GCSD will work with the Interagency Coordinating Council for Combating Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear Threats by means of a capacity building programme and by creating outputs that will benefit relevant state agencies in a sustainable manner. On December 21, GCSD held an introductory meeting with the partners and beneficiaries to duly inform them about the activities planned in the framework of the project.
