Masterclass International Sanctions Compliance (Yerevan)

The Center for Strategy and Development (CSD) is pleased to announce that an International Sanctions Compliance Masterclass will take place on April 17th in Yerevan.

In the current geopolitical environment, international sanctions compliance has become a critically important issue for many different countries, as well as for Armenia, particularly for actors operating in the financial sector, logistics, trade, media, and public institutions. Strengthening professional knowledge and practical capacity in this area is essential to mitigate legal, financial, and reputational risks, ensure alignment with international regulatory standards, and enhance institutional resilience.

The training is intended for representatives of the financial sector, logistics companies, media professionals, banks, and state institutions.

The masterclass will focus on key principles of international sanctions compliance, current regulatory frameworks, and practical challenges related to implementation and enforcement.

The training will be held by Maximilian (Max) Hess - an analyst, writer, adviser, and foreign policy consultant. He is the founder of Ementena Advisory, a London-based political risk firm and also serves as the Russia, Eurasia & Geo-Economics Expert at Aurora Macro Strategies in New York.
