New Vacancy-Project Officer (Armenia)

CSD is seeking a Project Officer to join a U.S.-funded program supporting government reforms in the fields of legal harmonization, good governance, compliance, and security policy.

Position summary

The Project Officer will support the implementation of program activities, coordinating between government counterparts, partners, and the project team. The role involves stakeholder engagement, event management, and contribution to program deliverables and reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of program activities in line with the approved workplans and donor requirements;
  • Liaise with Armenian government institutions and maintain working relationships with relevant counterparts;
  • Plan and organize events, workshops, consultations, and conferences involving government stakeholders and partners;
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, and program deliverables;
  • Coordinate logistical arrangements for program activities, including international visits and study trips;
  • Maintain program documentation, records, and reference materials.

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in project implementation, public administration, or related fields;
  • Demonstrated experience working with government institutions in the implementation of government support programs, or strong experience within government in relevant fields combined with experience engaging international partners;
  • Prior experience in donor-funded projects; U.S.-funded projects are a strong advantage;
  • Experience in planning and organizing events involving government stakeholders and international partners;
  • Fluency in Armenian and English (written and spoken) is required.
