Project Description

The primary goal of this project was to enhance access to and participation in the EG Micro Grant program for socially vulnerable groups by establishing effective communication channels, referral mechanisms, and support infrastructure within municipal authorities, the Social Service Agency, and the State Employment Support Agency.

The main objectives of the project included:

1.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between EG and relevant stakeholders, such as municipal authorities, the Social Service Agency, and the State Employment Support Agency.

2.Develop and implement orientation workshops for mid-level and decision-makers from the involved agencies to discuss program priorities, referral processes, and create a Coordination Mechanism within EG to streamline information exchange and improve application quality.

3.Establish a professional network through meetings with municipal representatives to provide support infrastructure, including FAQs, and build the referral system to enhance understanding and cooperation.

4.Enhance EG's internal capacity to address SVG-related inquiries by developing FAQs, providing legally proof responses, designing a Communications Action Plan tailored to SVG needs, and re-assessing the stakeholder municipal map to ensure effective outreach. Provide comprehensive information and lessons learned through a Final Report, Recommendations Package, and Presentation to inform future practices and encourage successful applications from socially vulnerable groups.
