Strategic Communications Program for Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University

The project aimed at strengthening social resilience by building the capacity for managing strategic communications. This was attained through developing the competencies of the local university to deliver a high-quality learning program in the field of strategic communications, preparing future leaders to be in the vanguard of countering disinformation and raising the level of public awareness. The objectives of the project were to build the capacity of the local universities in Batumi to deliver high-quality learning program in the field of strategic communications; to improve communications and counter-disinformation capabilities of future leaders and to promote public capabilities and awareness on identification of fake news.
