Project Description
This project sought to enhance Georgia’s resilience against using weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and to improve Georgia’s capabilities to detect and respond to chemical, biological, radiation, and nuclear threats.
Overall, the project boosted partner technical and tactical abilities, prepared them for corresponding scenarios, and increased their strategic communication skills to address the information dimension of this challenge.
This project enhanced Georgia’s capacity to respond to the asymmetric use of WMD, raised local awareness about non-proliferation norms, and highlighted the growing threat of state sponsored assassinations using hard-to-detect WMD agents.
