CBRN & Non-proliferation

CBRN and non-proliferation pose a global challenge, aiming to prevent the spread of weapons of mass destruction, as well as advanced conventional weapons, and mitigate associated risks with CBRN materials to uphold global security and avert catastrophic consequences.

Georgia's strategic location and close proximity to conflict regions highlight the utmost importance of addressing CBRN risks and emphasizing non-proliferation efforts.

CSD supports the enhancement of Georgia's capacity to address CBRN and non-proliferation risks, which includes the establishment of robust and well-coordinated mechanisms involving key actors from both the state and non-state sectors.
