Grant competition #23-001

"Center for Strategy and Development" announces the vacancy of a junior researcher (short-term) within the framework of the project "Strengthening Georgia's capacity to prevent violent extremism and radicalization". The position of a junior researcher in the mentioned project envisages inclusion in the research process of assessing the violent extremist risks facing Georgia.

• Conducting 14 interviews;
• Facilitation/participation in 14 focus groups;
• Coding of conducted interviews and focus groups data;
• Review of relevant literature

The candidate is preferred:

• to be a graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences;
• have experience working on research projects;
• have at least two years of experience conducting interviews and focus groups and preparing transcripts.;
• high level of English and Georgian languages ​​(in the case of English, it is preferable to present a certificate of language proficiency). Knowledge of an additional foreign language (French, German, Russian, Arabic) will be considered an advantage;
• own the necessary programs for statistical data processing (SPSS, Rstudio)
• ICT skills.

At least 2 research projects implemented in the past.
