Project Description

The project aimed to enhance the resilience of Georgia’s regions (Shida Kartli, Samegrelo, Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti) susceptible to cyber and disinformation threats. The project envisaged to (1) build the capacity of and create the common framework of knowledge for duty bearing key community actors and to equip them with skills and knowledge to protect their individual, institutional, community level and societal security; (2) create high-quality sustainable educational materials that could be spread beyond the immediate beneficiaries of the project, as well as (3) to create high-quality, user friendly and engaging material to increase the outreach of the project.

The primary outcome of the project was a better understanding of the specific vulnerabilities of Georgia’s four regions as well as the development of a common knowledge framework and better equipment of key stakeholders with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to protect themselves, their institutions, and their communities.
