The challenge posed by international terrorism and violent extremism remains acute for the international community. Whilst terrorism claims thousands of human lives yearly other violent extremist activities undermine democratic values and institutions and divide societies. For Georgia, as a contributor to international security as well as a developing democracy addressing these challenges is of utmost importance.CSD is committed to assisting all relevant stakeholders in developing policies and practices that help prevent the radicalization of individuals and groups from violent behavior. We aim to support government institutions, civil society organizations, and vulnerable communities in building their capacity and resilience.
